Practical Use: Chakra Alignment

The word “chakra” comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “wheel.” There are seven chakras located along the spine, from the base to the crown of the head. Each chakra is associated with a different color and element. The chakras spin at different speeds and frequencies, depending on our emotional state. When all of the chakras are spinning at the same speed and frequency, we are said to be in alignment. Chakra alignment can be achieved through meditation, yoga, or energy work. The goal is to clear any blockages in the chakras so that they can spin freely. When the chakras are in alignment, we experience physical, mental, and emotional balance. We may feel more energized, connected to our intuition, and alive.
